I fell in love with her "The Dinner Party" installation. No trip to Brooklyn Museum was complete without a visit to this celebration of "women's work." She is the perfect female artist to begin Women's History Month. In 2014, I saw her give a talk on her early work and how her work was received in the male dominated world of fine arts. Her bright colors were not accepted by the establishment at the time. I love her use of color and minimalist forms. The amount of research in "The Dinner Party" admirable. She is a constant inspiration to me.
